Experienced Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Ward is a board-certified internist with more than 20 years of experience caring for adults.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Ward has more than two decades of experience caring for adults across primary care and hospital settings. His experience includes preventive medicine, chronic disease management, complex medical problems, and coordination of care across specialists.
Dr. Ward graduated from Smithtown High School and earned his undergraduate degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Maine Medical Center.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has served in clinical, teaching, and leadership roles throughout his career.
After more than two decades in medicine, I wanted to practice primary care with more time to listen, think carefully, and develop genuine relationships with patients.
I founded Living Waters to create a smaller, more personal practice where patients are known as individuals.
My Christian faith shapes how I care for others. Faith is welcomed when patients desire it, while medical recommendations remain grounded in evidence-based medicine.
Living Waters is forming a small group of founding patients who value more time, direct physician access, and thoughtful, relationship-based care.
